The daredevil critter was spotted climbing an Ocean City apartment last week as a crowd that had gathered below watched in awe.
“This is the real news,” said spectator Micah Rea, who captured the scene on camera. “You won’t see this in the nightly news tonight.”
But just as quickly as the raccoon reached the ninth floor, it suddenly jumped off, falling to the ground below.
The animal, however, bounced right back up and ran off, none the worse for wear.
