A lucky dog was freed by firefighters after the curious canine got its head stuck in a pipe.
The St. Louis Fire Department posted a video on their Twitter page of the rescue.
Firefighter Garon Patrick Mosby told InsideEdition.com that the department was alerted to the scene when he speculated "the curiosity of a dog" led the stray to get its head stuck in the pipe.
While firefighters weren’t sure how long the pup had been stuck, they got right to work, taking bolt cutters to the pipe to try to give them enough room to pull it off the pup's head.
"Calming the dog was the most challenging part," he said.
After firefighters on the scene were able to successfully remove the pipe, they stayed for several more minutes comforting the uninjured pup.
