Which royals have a chance at assuming the British throne?
Prince Charles
Prince Charles, the eldest son of Queen Elizbeth II, has been the heir apparent since 1952, when his mother ascended to the throne.
Prince William
Prince William, the first son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, is next in line after his dad.
Prince George
He doesn't appear to like the spotlight, but 4-year-old Prince George is third in line for the crown.
Princess Charlotte
Princess Charlotte, according to her great-grandmum, Queen Elizabeth II, likes to run the show.
Prince Louis
Prince Louis, Prince William and Kate Middleton's newest arrival, is right behind Charlotte.
Prince Harry
Prince Harry is sixth in line, after Louis.
Baby Sussex
Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on May 6, 2019. The child, whose name has not yet been shared with the public, is seventh in line to the throne.
Prince Andrew
Prince Andrew, the second son of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, is eighth in line.
Princess Beatrice of York
The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is currently ninth in line.

David Armstrong-Jones, the second Earl of Snowden, is the son of Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones, first Earl of Snowdon, and thus is the nephew of Queen Elizabeth. When he was born, he stood fifth in line for the throne, but is now 21st.
Charles Armstrong-Jones
Pictured here with his father, Charles Armstrong-Jones is the only son of David Armstrong-Jones and Serena Armstrong-Jones, Countess of Snowdon, and is the great-grandson of King George VI. Though he is 22nd in line for the throne, he is heir apparent to the earldom of Snowdon.
Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones
Lady Margarita Elizabeth Rose Alleyne Armstrong-Jones is the only daughter and youngest child of the Earl and Countess of Snowdon and a great-granddaughter of King George VI. Her second middle name, Rose, is said to have been chosen by her brother Charles. Here, she is seen with her father.

Lady Sarah Frances Elizabeth Chatto is the daughter of Antony Armstrong-Jones, first Earl of Snowdon and Princess Margaret, as well as a niece of the queen. At birth, she was seventh in line for the throne, but is now 24th. She is a professional painter, represented by Redfern Gallery.

Samuel Chatto is the son of Lady Sarah Chatto and Daniel Chatto. He is 25th in line for the throne.
Arthur Chatto
Arthur Chatto stands directly behind his brother, Samuel, in line for the throne. Due to his participation in the Combined Cadet Forces while a student Eton College, Arthur is expected to join the army after he graduates from the University of Edinburgh. Prince Richard
Prince Richard was an architect until his oldest brother died, leading him to be placed in direct line to inherit his father’s dukedom of Gloucester. He is 27th in line for the British throne and the first person in the line of succession who is not descended from King George VI.
Alexander Windsor, Earl of Ulster
Major Alexander Patrick Gregers Richard Windsor is the son of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. Because he is heir apparent to the dukedom of Gloucester, he’s been given the title Earl of Ulster, but is commonly known as Alex Ulster. He works as as a director of the Transnational Crisis Project and is 28th in line for the throne.
Xan Windsor, Lord Culloden
Xan Richard Anders Windsor, son of Alexander Windsor and Claire Windsor (pictured above), was born in London in 2007. He is second in line for the dukedom of Gloucester and 29th in line for the throne, after his father. He will be given the title Earl of Ulster once his father becomes the duke.
Lady Cosima Windsor
Lady Cosima Windsor, born in 2010, is the younger sister of Xan and 30th in line for the British throne. Her parents are pictured above.
Lady Davina Lewis
Lady Davina Elizabeth Alice Benedikte Lewis, the eldest daughter of Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, and Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, grew up in Kensington Palace and then graduated from the University of the West of England with a degree in media studies. She is 31st in line for the throne.
Senna Lewis
Because of the British monarchy’s 300-year-old Act of Settlement, Senna Lewis, born in 2010, was originally behind her younger brother, Tane, in line for the British throne because the act gave sons priority over daughters. However, thanks to the Succession to the Crown Act of 2013, Senna was moved in front of her brother in line, to 32nd.
Tane Lewis
Tane Lewis, son of Lady Davina Lewis (pictured above pregnant with Tane in 2012) and Gary Lewis, was named after the Tane Mahuta, a large kauri tree native to New Zealand.
Lady Rose Gilman
Lady Rose Victoria Birgitte Louise Gilman, Lady Davina’s younger sister, works in the film industry under the name Rose Windsor. She works as an art department assistant and has worked on films including “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and “Margaret Thatcher: The Long Walk to Finchley.” She is 34th in line to the throne.
Lyla Gilman
Like her cousin Senna Lewis, Lyla Beatrix Christabel Gilman (born in 2010) originally fell behind her younger brother, Rufus, in line for the British throne because of the Act of Settlement, but was moved in front of him after the Succession to the Crowd Act 2013 took effect. Born in 2012, Rufus Frederick Montagu Gilman, son of Lady Rose and George Gilman, is one step behind his sister, Lyla, in line for the throne at 36th.
Prince Edward, Duke of Kent
Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, is first cousins with the queen, as his late father, Prince George, was King George VI’s brother. Prince George died in a plane crash in 1942.
George Windsor, Earl of St. Andrews
George Windsor, Earl of St. Andrews, is the oldest son of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent. George was given the title Earl of St. Andrews because he is heir apparent to the dukedom of Kent. He is 38th in line for the throne.
Lady Amelia Windsor
Lady Amelia Sophia Theodora Mary Margaret Windsor is Prince Harry and Prince William’s third cousin. She works in fashion and modeling, and walked in Milan Fashion Week in February 2017 for Dolce & Gabbana. She is 39th in line for the throne.

Lady Helen Marina Lucy Taylor is the only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent as well as the great-granddaughter of King George V. Prince Michael of Kent is one of the queen’s first cousins and was born seventh in the line for the throne. Now, however, he is 48th. He mostly works in consulting, but also sometimes represents the queen at functions outside the United Kingdom.
Lord Frederick Windsor
Lord Frederick Michael George David Louis, who goes by Freddie, is the son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. He works as a financial analyst at J.P. Morgan in London.
Maud Windsor
Maud Elizabeth Daphne Marina Windsor is the daughter of Lady and Lord Frederick Windsor (who is pictured above with his sister, Lady Gabriella Windsor). Born in 2013, Maud is 50th in line.
Isabella Windsor
