One Georgia couple's first instinct was to return the money.
The Rincon Police Department posted on Facebook that store owner Gautambhai Patel had lost a bag with nearly $25,000 inside, meant to be deposited in the bank.
When they started their investigation, they hoped some kind-hearted person would return the cash.
Their wish came true when Jeff and Michelle Green came across the bag and turned it in
Their caption read in part, "We always encourage citizens to do the right thing both morally and legally!"
Comments on the post commend the Greens for their honesty.
