The woman who crashed the stage is a popular YouTuber.
Gigi Hadid wasn’t having it when a prankster stepped onto the catwalk during Chanel’s Spring 2020 fashion show in Paris.
The woman, who has been identified as popular YouTube star Marie Benoliel, 28, waltzed onto the stage at Grand Palais and began walking as if she were part of the show while the models were taking their final strut down the runway.
Benoliel was dressed in a tweed suit and black hat, and was apparently trying to blend in.
Hadid, 24, spotted Benoliel, also known as Marie S’Infiltre, and escorted her off the runway. Eventually, security stepped in and Benoliel was taken off stage.
People joked on Twitter about the encounter.
“Gigi Hadid assuming her role as head of security at Chanel,” one Twitter user wrote alongside the video.
It’s not clear if there will be any repercussions for Benoliel.
