Gwyneth Paltrow has been sued by a man in Utah who claims she plowed into him on a Park City slope and seriously injured him in a "hit-and-run ski crash."
Terry Sanderson claims the actress was skiing out of control and knocked him unconscious, leaving him with a brain injury and broken ribs of Feb. 26, 2016.
He also contends Paltrow left without checking on him.
"Paltrow got up, turned and skiied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying in the snow, seriously injured," the lawsuit alleges, according to CBS News.
In a statement released by her company, Goop, the actress denied the claims, saying, "This lawsuit is completely without merit. Anyone who reads the facts will realize that."
At a press conference Tuesday, Sanderson's lawyer played a video of a witness who claims he "saw Gwyneth Paltrow hit him in the back," CBS affiliate KUTV reported.
Sanderson is seeking more than $3.1 million in damages, claiming emotional and physical injuries.
