Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, is firing back at reports that she had entered a treatment center, saying she is "feeling better than ever" and has "taken a break from work and social media."
Paris Jackson is taking issue with reports claiming she’s in a treatment center.
“The media is exaggerating per usual.. yes I’ve taken a break from work and social media and my phone because it can be too much sometimes, and everyone deserves a break, but i am happy and healthy and feeling better than ever!" she wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of herself and a dog. "gabriel and i have some new music we’re stoked to share with y’all!"
Since December, Jackson had been conspicuously silent on social media, prompting many to wonder about her well-being.
Meanwhile, in an episode of the "Inside of You With Michael Rosenbaum" podcast, Macaulay Culkin talked about his controversial friendship with Paris’ father, Michael Jackson.
"For me, it's so normal and mundane. I know it's a big deal to everybody else, but it was a normal friendship,” the actor said of his relationship with the pop star, who died 10 years ago this year.
The “Home Alone” star also revealed how they first connected.
“He reached out to me because a lot of things were happening big and fast with me,” Culkin said, “I think he identified with that. I mean, at the end of the day, it's almost easy to try say it was 'weird' or whatever, but it wasn't, because it made sense.”
Culkin, now 38 years ago, says he sees nothing weird about their friendship.
“I mean, at the end of the day, it’s almost easy to try say it was like weird or whatever, but it wasn’t, because it made sense,” Culkin said. “At the end of the day, we were friends.”
