Antonio Perkins laughed and talked with friends before gunfire rang out as he recorded live footage in North Lawndale in Chicago.
A 28-year-old man live streamed his own murder on Facebook, gunned down as he recorded the clip on a Chicago sidewalk, authorities said.
Antonio Perkins laughed and talked with friends as he recorded live footage on the 1600 block of South Drake Avenue in North Lawndale at about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.
He and a friend are first seen drinking and joking before Perkins takes the phone back, noting how warm it was before panning the camera to film the block. A stroller can be seen and a child can be heard.
But the laughs quickly turn into screams after shots ring out..

Someone yells off-camera as about a dozen gunshots are heard and the phone drops to the ground.
“Call the police!” people yell.
The phone briefly shows bloodied grass as Perkins appears to try to pick up the phone before it lands back on the ground and goes black, but continues rolling.
“Tony’s f****** down, n****!” someone shouts, as people scream for help and plead with Perkins to stay with them.
“You good Tony! Tony!” a woman repeatedly screams, as another person yells that he is bleeding.
“Tony, baby — wake up!” a woman shouts.
First responders can later be heard telling people to step back.
Perkins was rushed to Mt. Sinai hospital with gunshot wounds to the neck and head, but he could not be saved, police said. He was pronounced dead at 9:07 p.m.
His phone continued recording the muffled sounds of what had then become a crime scene, occasionally playing a song that may have been his ringtone.
The video is authentic and detectives believe the video is connected to the shooting, police told InsideEdition.com. To date, it has been viewed about 600,000 times.
Authorities believe the shooting is gang-related, while a source said Perkins is a documented gang member.
But loved ones said Perkins was no longer involved in that world and had turned his life around.
“A lot of people loved my son; he was a good person,” his father Daniel Cole told WGN.
Perkins had recently been promoted at McDonald’s, where he worked almost every day. Wednesday was a rare night out for the father-of-three, friends said.
“Stop judging everybody. Stop judging us like that. His life really did matter,” his friend Tiffany told the TV station.
The victim’s brother was also a victim of gun violence, according to reports. He died in 1999, according to Perkins’ Facebook page.
No arrests have been made in Perkins’ killing. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
So far this year 278 people have been killed in Chicago, more than half the number of people killed in 2015, according to The Chicago Tribune.
At least 13 other people have been wounded by gunfire on the city’s West and South sides since Wednesday morning, the Tribune reported.
