Olsen is a quarterback for the University of North Carolina-Charlotte 49ers.
49ers Coach Brad Lambert says he’s aware of Olsen’s arrest and the junior has been suspended from the team, the university said in a statement. The school said administrators are "reviewing the case consistent with its disciplinary procedures."
Multiple local outlets reported in 2014 that Olsen was expelled from his brother's alma mater—where he was once hopeful he'd become starting quarterback—following his arrest for an alleged DUI.
The New Jersey native was also dismissed from Towson University in Maryland after administrators said he violated team rules. He then transferred to Riverside City College in California before arriving in Charlotte.
