Shaun Ivy, 36, allegedly threatened to bring women he found shoplifting to the police before taking them to his house and raping them, reports said.
A Missouri man is accused of using his position as a security guard at a clothing store to kidnap and rape women under the threat of turning them in to police for shoplifting, officials said.
Shaun Ivy, 36, worked as a loss prevention officer for multinational clothing-retail company H&M, which has stores in the Chesterfield Mall, West County Mall and the Galleria, authorities said.
Ivy threatened women caught shoplifting with police action and incarceration before coercing the victims to leave the store with him and get in his vehicle, St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar told KMOV-TV.

But instead of helping the women avoid trouble, Ivy allegedly drove them to his St. Charles home with the intent of sexually assaulting them, prosecutors said.
Three victims have reportedly been identified, and police have urged any other victims to come forward.
Ivy was charged with two counts of kidnapping and one count of rape on April 20.
On Monday, he remained at the St. Charles County Jail on $300,000 cash-only bond, officials said. He was also ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims.

He is due in court on Wednesday.
H&M confirmed to InsideEdition.com that Ivy worked for them in the St. Charles area, but is no longer employed by the company.
“The safety and well-being of our customers and employees is of utmost importance to us and we are working closely with the police during their investigation,” H&M said in a statement. “We will continue to provide the police with any information we can in order to aide with their ongoing investigation... We are committed to providing a safe environment in our stores for our customers and staff and are working with our local teams to provide them with all of the necessary support and will also follow up with the affected stores to ensure that all of H&M’s safety standards are reviewed and met.”
All H&M employees must pass a criminal background check as well as a social security trace search, a rep for the clothing retailer added.
