Kris Jenner was so jealous of the whole relationship that she went away to be a flight attendant, according to book's author.
Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian clan, was not Robert Kardashian's first love, according to a new book.
Instead, Kardashian was besotted with Elvis Presley's wife Priscilla, according to Jerry Oppenheimer, the author of The Kardashians: An American Drama.

"At the time, [Kris Jenner] really wanted to marry him, he found another woman to have an affair with and that was Elvis Presley's wife, Priscilla Presley," Oppenheimer told Inside Edition. "Kris at that time went off to become an American Airlines stewardess, totally jealous of what was going on."
Elvis demanded Priscilla end the relationship and Kardashian went on to marry Kris Jenner in 1978.
"Kris Jenner comes from a very blue collar family," Oppenheimer said. "She has very little education. She only went to high school ... She saw Robert as her way out of this blue collar life, a way out of being a flight attendant and a Beverly Hills lifestyle, which he had to offer her."

Oppenheimer adds that Kris Jenner as a political candidate in 2020 or 2024 may now be a possibility.
"I think that is her future — that's what she's telling people very privately — that she's planning to get into politics," he said. "She's even talked about thinking that she could be president one day."
