INSIDE EDITION talks to Larry King's sixth wife to find out what it's like being married to the TV icon.
Larry King's wife number six suspects that he cheated on her, just as he's rumored to have strayed from current wife Shawn, which he denies.
INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander sat down with Julia Alexander-King in Philadelphia where she lives. The businesswoman still uses her ex-husband's famous last name. They met at a charity event in 1989.
"I thought my marriage would last forever," said Alexander-King.
INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander asked, "Did Larry cheat on you?"
"I never saw him cheat on me, but something was going on," said Alexander-King.
In describing how they met, she said, "We just bumped into each other, and there was halo, and it was probably as close as possible to cupid throwing an arrow in my heart."
King proposed after only two dates. At the time, he gushed, "This is the first time I'm walking down the aisle with not only someone I love, but also someone I adore and who is my friend."
Julia was King's sixth wife, but she says he fibbed about his history of divorce, telling her she was his fourth.
As time went on, their busy careers drove them apart. They divorced after just three years. Said King in 1992 , "I regret that our marriage has not worked out."
INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander asked Julia Alexander-King about her ex's troubled romantic history.
"When it comes to his show, when it comes to ...He has an attention span of a gnat."
She's actually met Shawn King, and thinks she may have married Larry for reasons other than love.
When asked if she thinks Shawn King was after money or celebrity, Alexander-King said, "I believe she was looking for both."
Julia Alexander-King never remarried, and says she still loves the TV icon, saying, "Larry has a heart of gold."
