The man behind the anti-Obama documentary has resigned as President of the evangelical school The King’s College amid his scandal of being engaged to a younger woman while he was still married to his wife. INSIDE EDITION reports.
He's one of the country's leading conservative voices who's getting lots of attention for his movie attacking President Obama, But suddenly, he's in the middle of a jaw-dropping sex scandal!
D'Souza told INSIDE EDITION, "I have no comment."
Dinesh D'Souza's 2016: Obama's America has racked up more than $33 million at the box office, making it one of the top-grossing documentaries of all time.
He's also the best-selling author of The Roots of Obama's Rage and Obama's America: Unmaking The American Dream.
But now, everyone's wondering if this influential 51-year-old commentator has a cheating heart.
D'Souza, a married man, reportedly shared a hotel room with another woman while attending a Christian values event in South Carolina last month. And get this—the woman is 22 years younger than D'Souza, and is reportedly his fiancée.
The woman's name is Denise Joseph. The problem is, D'Souza has been married to another woman for 20 years.
The Daily Beast religion reporter David Sessions told INSIDE EDITION, "There's a bit of outrage, just because of, you know, the hypocrisy of it. The question will be whether or not any serious, conservative institutions will have him now."
D'Souza has denied sharing the hotel room with Denise Joseph, and claims he is separated from his wife. In the past he's been linked to two of the most recognizable conservative women in America. He dated Ann Coulter and was once engaged to conservative radio personality Laura Ingraham.
The sex scandal has forced D'Souza to resign his position as president of The King's College, a Christian evangelical school in New York City. Students there are stunned by what's happened to their disgraced president.
"As humans, we do make mistakes, and it was just one mistake in his personal life," said one student.
But the man with so much to say about Barack Obama had no words for INSIDE EDITION, saying, "I don't really have anything to say."
