It was all caught on video.
Startling traffic surveillance footage shows the moment cops in Minnesota say a driver on the run from officers crashed through an intersection at alarming speed.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, a 29-year-old male suspect led officers on a high-speed pursuit through the city before crashing the vehicle.
The suspect, who cops say was wanted in an aggravated assault that involved a firearm, fled the car and scaled a fence before running out of view of the intersection camera.
Per a police statement, the suspect "dropped a stolen handgun and ran ... but officers caught up with him."
The suspect, whom police didn't name, was arrested for aggravated assault, fleeing police in a motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by an ineligible person, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
"Thankfully, no one was injured and officers were able to get a stolen gun off the streets," the SPPD said.
