"This is my second time, so I'm feeling more experienced," Gary West told lottery officials.
An Iowa man is feeling twice as lucky after winning his second six-figure lottery prize in 12 years.
Gary West, 54, said he felt like an old pro when he showed up to pick up his $250,000 winnings.
"This is my second time, so I'm feeling more experienced," he told Iowa Lottery officials Monday.
West, who works as a security guard, previously won $100,000 on a scratch game.
He knew he'd won last week, but couldn't redeem the ticket until Monday, so he said he walked around in a panic all weekend.
"It's just like I couldn't have enough bodyguards around that ticket," he said.
West said he's going to buy a new car with his winnings, as well as share some of the money with his family.
Do good things come in threes? Only time will tell if West can land another six-figure win.
