“Parking in a handicapped spot? Really? I hope you get a ticket,” one person commented.
Why did Kylie Jenner stop in an accessible parking spot?
The 21-year-old reality star and billionaire is under fire for posting a photo of herself posing with partner Travis Scott in a parking garage.
The photo posted on Instagram depicted the pair sharing a sweet moment as they exited the car, but viewers were quick to point out the sign in the background, indicating that the spot they were parked in is reserved for people with disabilities.
“Parking in a handicapped spot? Really? I hope you get a ticket,” one person commented.
Another said, “Hopefully you or a loved one will never need a handicapped spot. What an ignorant post.”
The Ruderman Family Foundation, which advocates for the inclusion of differently abled peoples, even spoke out, urging Jenner to be a better role model.
This isn’t the first time Jenner has been condemned by disability advocates.
In 2015, Jenner sparked outrage by posing on the cover of Interview Magazine in a wheelchair. Interview Magazine responded at the time that the “intention was certainly not to offend anyone.”
Jenner has not yet responded to the latest controversy.
