The estranged daughter of reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley said her own father is threatening to release an alleged sex tape involving her.
Lindsie Chrisley, 29, left the hit USA Network show "Chrisley Knows Best" two years ago. Now, she's alleging that her father, Todd, and her brother, 23-year-old Chase Chrisley, tried to blackmail her with the alleged sex tape.
A police report filed in Georgia about the alleged incident states that Todd and Chase "wanted [Lindsie] to lie about an incident and if she refused to do so, they were going to release the sex tape involving her.”
Lindsie told Inside Edition that if the tape does in fact exist, it was made without her knowledge.
"I have never consented to a sex tape, so if there is a tape, it was not made by me, I did not consent to it and no parties that would have ever been involved would have consented to it," she said.
Todd called his daughter's accusation a "complete lie" and went a step further, accusing Lindsie, who's married with a son, of having affairs with two former stars of "The Bachelorette."
"It's heartbreaking and shameful that these kinds of accusations have to be aired in public," he told Fox News. "We have tried to keep Lindsie’s extramarital relationships with Robby Hayes and Josh Murray private for her sake.... Although our hearts are broken, Lindsie is our daughter and we will always love her."
Lindsie's lawyer, Musa Ghanayem, suggested that Todd was trying to discredit Lindsie and deflect attention amid his own scandal. Todd and his wife, Julie, were recently indicted by a grand jury for various financial crimes, which they deny.
It's been suggested that Lindsie may have been responsible for the indictment, but she in turn denies that.
"I absolutely did not," she said when asked whether she had anything to do with it.
For his part, Ghanayem was astounded by Todd's statement. "The first thing he does after being charged ... is to come out and try to slut-shame his daughter," Ghanayem told Inside Edition.
Now, Lindsie is so nervous about her safety, she's hired armed security, she said.
"Reality TV can either bring out the best in people or it can bring out the worst in people, and unfortunately I think that you see more of the bad than you do the good," she said.
Lindsie declined to comment on whether she'd ever dated Hayes and Murray. Murray said it was just gossip.
