Jason Kunselman noticed Kelsey Zwick and her 11-month-old daughter, and decided to switch seats with them.
A mom couldn't believe it when a stranger offered up his first-class seat to her and her 11-month-old daughter, who was hooked up to an oxygen machine.
Kelsey Zwick was traveling from Florida to Pennsylvania on American Airlines with little Lucy when a flight attendant approached her saying a man in up front wanted to switch seats.
She wanted to show her gratitude, but he disappeared afterward.
“To the man in 2D. Today you were traveling from Orlando to Philly. I don’t know you, but I imagine you saw us somewhere. I was pushing a stroller, had a diaper bag on my arm and also lugging an oxygen machine for my daughter,” Zwick wrote on her Facebook page.
Zwick had pre-boarded the plane and was “cozy” in her seat when the flight attendant came to get her.
“Not able to hold back tears, I cried my way up the aisle while my daughter Lucy laughed! She felt it in her bones too ... real, pure, goodness,” Zwick continued in the post. “I smiled and thanked you as we switched but didn’t get to thank you properly.”
The post went viral and ultimately American Airlines identified the kind stranger, Jason Kunselman, and connected the two passengers.
"She came up crying and it made me tear [up]," Kunselman told Inside Edition. "She said, 'Thank you ... I know I didn't get to thank you properly.'
"[She added that] we need more kindness like I showed to her in the world."
