An Australian man has his dreams to thank for his recent lottery win.
The man, who chose to remain anonymous, won a $1 million prize playing numbers from a dream he had 13 years earlier.
“I’ve been playing these numbers for 13 years," he told lottery officials Monday. "I dreamt them one night – they appeared in my dream."
Though it took a while to see a win of this magnitude, persistence paid off.
“I thought one day I would see them all there," he said. "I hadn’t given up on them!"
