Her co-host Steve Harvey officiated the wedding.
TV host Maria Menounos did more than just celebrate the new year as the ball dropped in New York’s Times Square – she tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend.
While co-hosting Fox’s New Year’s Eve broadcast, Menounos, 39, got married in a surprise ceremony on live television to Keven Undergaro, whom she has been with for 20 years.
Her co-host Steve Harvey officiated the wedding that occurred shortly before the ball dropped. He was reportedly ordained only 48 hours before the big ceremony.
Despite it being only 10 degrees in New York Sunday night, Menounos wowed the crowd in a lacy bridal gown.
“I’m getting married,” she tells her parents during a live broadcast that she later posted on Instagram. “We’re not getting married in a church because we’re getting married, right here, tonight in Times Square. That’s right. You know what mom, Kris Jenner told me on Christmas Eve the other night that tomorrow’s never promised and she’s right, and I love you and I want you to be there, it’s going to be amazing.”
The couple isn't shy about public displays of affection.
In March 2016, Undergaro proposed to Menounos on The Howard Stern Show.
Earlier this year, Menounos underwent brain surgery to remove a benign meningioma tumor.
