100-Year-Old Powerlifting Great Grandma Is Now in Guinness Book of World Records

Edith Murway is not only celebrating her 100th birthday, she’s also celebrating her entry into the 2022 Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest female competitive powerlifter. This decorated athlete from Florida says she only started lifting nine years ago when she saw other women lifting at her gym and decided to give it a try. Despite her shelves of accolades, Edith says she wants more and she’s gearing up for competition in the fall. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
