4 Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputies Die by Suicide in 24-Hour Period

Four current and former Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputies have died by suicide in a 24-hour period, according to authorities, leaving the law enforcement community stunned. Three of the deceased were current deputies. One was retired. The Association for LA Deputy Sheriffs tells KCBS the demands of the job weigh heavily on the people who perform them.
