Homeowner Charged With Shooting Teen Who Rang Wrong Doorbell

An 84-year-old man is in police custody after being accused of shooting Missouri teenager Ralph Yarl, who rang his doorbell by mistake. Now, Andrew Lester is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. Lester allegedly opened fire through the glass door and when the 16-year-old fell to the ground he was shot a second time in the right arm. Despite the fact that he was released from the hospital, his mother says Yarl's wounds are serious.
