9-Year-Old Blows Everyone Away With His Rendition of the National Anthem

He’s the 9-year-old blowing everyone away with his powerful pipes. D’Corey Johnson was so excited when his school, Bates Elementary in Louisville, Kentucky, reopened for in-person classes, he asked the principal if he could sing the national anthem. She said yes, and he got on the PA system — and boy oh boy did he sing it! D’Corey started singing in the church choir, and his mom says that whenever he sings, “people burst out crying.” He hopes to be on Broadway one day.
