Accused Lindsay Shiver Asks Judge for Permission to Go Home for Christmas

A wealthy former pageant queen charged in an alleged murder-for-hire plot was told she can spend Christmas with her kids. Lindsay Shiver told a judge in the Bahamas she wants to see her three children back home in the U.S. for Christmas. Her estranged husband, who she is accused of plotting to murder, appeared via Zoom and asked the judge to keep her away. However, the judge ruled Shiver can leave and must return for her trial next March. She has pleaded not guilty.
