Albino Orangutan Starts New Life in the Wild After Being Held in Captivity

Alba the orangutan is getting a new chance at life. Orangutans usually have brown or orange hair with dark eyes but not Alba. She has albinism. It's a condition that changes an animal's pigmentation. Alba is believed to be the world's only albino orangutan. The species is already critically endangered, so Alba is truly special. Alba was released into the wild in Borneo more than a year after she was rescued from captivity.
