American Couple Killed in Alleged ISIS Attack Were on Dream Vacation

Jay Austin and Lauren Geoghegan gave up their jobs to travel the world by bike a little over a year ago. It was a dream that turned deadly. The D.C.-based pair blogged about their adventures on their website: Simply Cycling. After biking thousands of miles through Africa, Europe and Central Asia, they made their way to an area near the border of Tajikistan and Afghanistan, where officials say they were run off the road by suspected terrorists. ISIS has claimed responsibility.
