    Bus Drivers Called on to Watch Classes After Teachers Call in Sick

    More than half a million Americans are being diagnosed with COVID-19 every day as the Omicron variant rages on. Businesses and schools are struggling to stay open as loads of people are calling out sick from work. In Miami, a staggering 1,700 teachers called in sick today. It was all hands on deck, as even the district superintendent filled in as a substitute teacher. In Michigan, lunch ladies and school bus drivers are stepping in to supervise classes.
