Child Marriage Survivor Tells Her Story on TikTok

Brittany shares stories from her life on TikTok using the name Brittany Bee. She says, “I am a child marriage survivor in the United States.” In 2024, there are only 12 U.S. states that ban marriage for people under the age of 18, with no exceptions, including pregnancy or parental permission. Fraidy Reiss says her parents forced her into a marriage in New York as a teen. She founded Unchained at Last, a charity dedicated to helping survivors and changing legislation regarding child marriage.
