Summer Heatwaves May Be Due to Climate Change
Extreme heat, droughts, heavy downpours and wildfires may be on the way this summer and may be a result of climate change, according to scientists. “We have heatwaves in Europe, we have heatwaves in Saudi Arabia at the moment. We have heatwaves in China right now. We have heatwaves in the U.S.,” Friederike Otto, a climate scientist with Imperial College London, told CBS News.
