Coffee Cups Made of Clay Offered as Greener Option at Some Cafes

Coffee, we just can’t live without it, but our on-the-go consumption sends billions of single-use coffee cups to landfills every year. A company in California is trying out an alternative cup in hopes of reducing waste. Verve Coffee Roasters tells KCBS it will be offering a ceramic disposable cup, hoping customers will want the more environmentally friendly option.
