Cruise Passengers Struggle to Stay on Their Feet After Ship Hits Big Wave

It was a cruise ship nightmare at sea. Passengers were taken for a unexpected wild ride after the ship hit a rough wave. It happened on board the Explorer of the Seas near the Canary Islands en route to Miami. An unexpected squall made the ship lift to one side for more than 10 minutes. Anything that wasn't tied down went flying. The ship had to turn around and return to the Canary Islands to get an injured passenger necessary medical treatment.
