Explosion Takes Off Side of House

Minnesota’s Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office says officers were serving civil paperwork when they heard a loud explosion nearby. Deputies arrived to see the side walls of a house on the ground, exposing the home’s interior. Officers had to ram their way into the front door because it was blocked with debris from the other side. One person was trapped in the home. Authorities say the resident was removed from the house and taken for medical care.
