Golden Globes Denies Allegations in “Culture of Corruption” Lawsuit From Reporter

The Golden Globes are doled out by the sometimes mysterious Hollywood Foreign Press Association, who are denying allegations of a “culture of corruption” after a Norwegian journalist filed a lawsuit claiming she and other qualified reporters have been unfairly denied membership to the elite group. Kjersti Flaa alleges that HFPA members are often given “coveted interview slots with actors, invitation-only retreats with stars and set visits around the world at no expense.”
