Queen Elizabeth II’s Charities Mourn Her Loss

The queen was patron or president of over 500 charitable organizations in her lifetime. Blind Veterans UK and the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust are two of Her Majesty’s charities. Joan Salter of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust is a Holocaust survivor, and Nick Caplin of Blind Veterans UK is a 30-year British Army veteran.
