House Falls Into River After Rapidan Dam Collapses

FEMA estimates there are 15,000 dams in the U.S. at risk of failing. The Rapidan Dam collapsing caused a Minnesota house on the edge of the river to fall into the water. The house was teetering on the edge for days after catastrophic flooding led to the partial collapse of the Rapidan Dam. ​David Hruska grew up in the house. He stood helplessly as the foundation slowly chipped away from the pounding water below.
