How Kids Were Taken to Safety After 6-Year-Old Allegedly Shot Teacher

This is how kids were escorted out of a Virginia elementary school after a 6-year-old allegedly shot his teacher. Officers with the Newport News Police Department calmly got the kids out of the building and to safety by marching in the hallways and with high-fives to each student. The department shared the video as part of a five-minute tribute to its officers. The teacher, Abigail Zwerner 25, was shot in the hand and chest in January.
