How Survivors of the Columbine High School Massacre Worked to Heal
In 1999, two students walked into Columbine High School and killed 13 people and wounded more than 20 others before turning the guns on themselves. In the aftermath of the tragedy, it was believed that the shooters were goths and part of a group known as the “Trench Coat Mafia.” But that was not the case, according to members of that group who spoke to Inside Edition. As the community in Littleton began to heal, it also banned together to denounce hate.
