How the O.J. Simpson Car Chase Was a Major News Event in the 1990s
The 1990s were a decade that changed the nation, but some of the headlines still resonate today. The 1992 L.A. Riots saw the city burn after the beating of Rodney King, and Inside Edition’s cameras were at the center of it all. Amy Fisher and O.J. Simpson became the biggest tabloid stories of the decade, and the music world lost the likes of the Notorious B.I.G. and Kurt Cobain. The nation also mourned and stood in shock following the 1995 attack on a federal building in Oklahoma City and the 1999 Columbine school shooting.
