Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Motorcycle Escort Hits 83-Year-Old
June 19, 2019
A grandmother was injured after being knocked down by a member of Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal convoy on Monday. Irene Mayor, an 83-year-old widow, was on her way home when she was "clipped" by a mirror on one of the motorcycles that travel with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's entourage. She has a number of broken bones, including both arms and her leg, but is in stable condition. William and Kate, who did not witness the accident, are said to be “deeply concerned and saddened.”
