Katie Couric Says She Has Breast Cancer

Katie Couric revealed she's been battling breast cancer after she was six months late for a mammogram. Couric says when her test confirmed she had breast cancer, she "felt sick and the room started to spin." On her website, she also says she underwent surgery back in July. Couric has always been an advocate for cancer prevention. She famously underwent a live colonoscopy on the "Today" show in 2000 after her first husband died from colon cancer.
