Koala With Type-1 Diabetes Gets Help From New Tech

Quincy is a koala at the San Diego Zoo with Type 1 diabetes. Now experts have a better way to check his blood sugar levels with the help of a glucose monitor. Quincy wears a sensor and transmitter, which then send information to a smart device reviewed by his caretakers. They hope the technology works as well with koalas as it does with humans.
