A Kenosha County, Wisconsin, jury found Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts on November 19. The teenager shot three people, killing two of them, with an AR-15 rifle in Kenosha in August of 2020. The high-profile trial drew national attention. He was acquitted of first degree homicide and other charges after four days of jury deliberation. After the verdict was announced, Rittenhouse hugged his attorney and cried.
