For stinky garbage disposals, she recommends filling ice-cube trays with vinegar and tiny chunks of lemon. When it’s time to freshen the disposal, toss in the cubes and turn it on. And Alka-Seltzer tablets have several uses; they can be tossed into toilets to clean tough stains, and can also be employed to tackle baked-on stains on dishes and pans.
