Lifestyle expert Erika Katz went room by room with busy mom Gabriella Ribiero to find common household items you may be cleaning too often. Starting in the bedroom, she says pillows and your duvet cover should be washed once every four months. If you have a dog who likes to sleep on the bed then you should wash your duvet cover twice a month. For the bathroom, Katz says to hang your bath mat after a shower.
