Mother Meets Daughter 43 Years After Placing Her for Adoption

Annette Gajewski gave up daughter Beth Stewart 43 years ago after coming out of an abusive marriage. Since childhood, Stewart says she wondered "is that person behind me in line … my birth mother?" When Stewart turned 18, she learned the adoption records were sealed, and then turned to a DNA ancestry Web site. There, she found out Gajewski was searching for her too. They reunited in Michigan.
