New Submarine Design Swaps Propeller for Fins to Help Environment

It’s a submarine like you’ve never seen before, but different times call for a different design, according to engineers in Europe. German university students are in Spain’s Canary Islands testing out their model, which uses these fins instead of traditional propellers, which can be harmful to the environment.
