New York Homes Sprayed by Lake Erie Winter Waves Look Straight Out of ‘Frozen’

It looks like a scene right out of the movie “Frozen.” Homes in this lakefront community in upstate New York are completely encased in ice – in some places, the ice is three feet thick. Gale force winds created huge waves on Lake Erie, which sprayed water on these houses, leaving giant icicles hanging from roofs and windows. Residents say it might look like a wonderland, but it’s more like being trapped in a dungeon. “We have people who are in turmoil,” one resident said.
