New York Woman Brings Gifts to Babies Living With Down Syndrome

After seeing a video about babies born with Down syndrome, Brittany Schiavone decided she wanted to help. The 30-year-old, who is also living with Down syndrome, decided to make baskets for babies and parents, providing resources and gifts. "The real push for the baskets is not only to celebrate the baby but to give the parents resources and a direction when they really need it at the very beginning," Brittany's mom, Sue, said.
