Meet the First Native American Woman in Space
Nicole Mann has made history as the first Native American woman in space. She says she feels proud to represent the Wailacki of the Round Valley Indian Tribes in northern California. Nicole’s influence has motivated others with indigenous backgrounds to have an interest in NASA. “It's good for the community. Hopefully inspires young children and it allows them to open up their mind and see the incredible things that we're doing onboard space the station," she said. Inside Edition Digital has more.
